Please forward this event to your friends and relations – Ashton Lamont does not collect guests email addresses at weddings but there are always lots of requests to view the galleries. And remember Facebook, Twitter, MySpace, Bebo etc!
We hope you enjoy the galleries and may be able to recommend Ashton Lamont to friends and colleagues for our wedding, event, portrait, and commercial work.
Guests: High quality individually edited photographic prints or printready digital files can be purchased. See the Online Order Form clickable underneath each fullsize image or contact us with your specific requirements and with your credit or debit card details or send in a cheque (payee “Ashton Lamont”). You can also pay by internet bank transfer – contact us for the sort code and account number. All prints sized 7”x5”, 9”x6”, and 10”x8” come with a lovely black bevelled matte ready for display. All these print sizes cost the same but you may wish to avoid 10”x8” unless the print is intended for a readymade frame of that size because its aspect ratio involves cropping some content from the two shortest sides of the image – compare a widescreen television to a standard television – 9”x6” resembles widescreen and 10”x8” resembles standard. If an image does not work in 10x8 it is supplied in 9x6. |

Jenny and Andrew chose their local St Giles Church Camberwell in South East London for their marriage ceremony.
The Reverend of this very large and impressive church is well disposed to professional photographers; in fact he could hardly be more helpful. So a good selection of images can be shot during the ceremony. However the layout of this old and elaborate building is a challenge for photographers as it can be difficult to find positions from which to shoot where the subjects are in reasonable light and at the same time the photographer does not become a distraction to the guests. Photographers should allow extra time before the ceremony - or at a rehearsal - to become acquainted with the layout.
The grounds of the church are quite extensive and are suitable for formal posed shots if required.
From St Giles Church we made our way to the Clarendon Hotel, a fine Georgian building in nearby Blackheath. Jenny and Andrew had a quite extensive list of posed photos to complete in a short time. We decided to complete these at the hotel as the weather on the day was very gusty and with heavy showers and the hotel afforded more shelter from the wind than the churchyard.
Confetti is allowed outside St Giles Church Camberwell as you can see in the photo below!

The Clarendon Hotel Blackheath is shown in the photo below. The hotel is opposite Blackheath itself, which is of course a huge public park. The Clarendon Hotel does have its own gardens to the rear.
