You can also pay by internet bank transfer – contact us for the sort code and account number. All prints sized 7”x5”, 9”x6”, and 10”x8” come with a lovely black bevelled matte ready for display. All these print sizes cost the same but you may wish to avoid 10”x8” unless the print is intended for a readymade frame of that size because its aspect ratio involves cropping some content from the two shortest sides of the image – compare a widescreen television to a standard television – 9”x6” resembles widescreen and 10”x8” resembles standard. If an image does not work in 10x8 it is supplied in 9x6. |

Background Information:
St Laurence Church Lurgashall West Sussex hosted the marriage ceremony of Giovanna and Richard. The church just happens to be right next to The Noahs Ark Inn which was the venue for the wedding reception, and both the church and the Inn border the village green making Lurgashall probably the quintessential English village.
The church authorities are well disposed to professional photographers and although the interior of this originally Saxon church is tricky for shooting it is possible to obtain a good selection of mid-ceremony images if the right equipment is available - meaning long lenses and cameras which can perform well in very low light. A further challenge for late autumn and winter weddings in this and some other churches is that the interior heaters can radiate light as well as heat and produce a pronounced red colour cast which in turn mixes with the normal lighting and to some extent daylight, and can get very ugly. Photographers ..... don't even think about not shooting in a RAW format as you will have to neutralise the cast as far as you can back at the computer!
We dodged the showers and managed to complete Giovanna and Richards list of formal photos in the churchyard. The Rector will allow formal photos to be completed inside the church after the ceremony if necessary. We did ours outside even though it was dusk as some natural light usually produces more pleasing results than all "artificial" interior lights combined with flashguns.
Giovanna and Richard took over the Noahs Ark Inn with exclusive use for their wedding breakfast and reception, and i must say it looked splendid!
