You can also pay by internet bank transfer – contact us for the sort code and account number. All prints sized 7”x5”, 9”x6”, and 10”x8” come with a lovely black bevelled matte ready for display. All these print sizes cost the same but you may wish to avoid 10”x8” unless the print is intended for a readymade frame of that size because its aspect ratio involves cropping some content from the two shortest sides of the image – compare a widescreen television to a standard television – 9”x6” resembles widescreen and 10”x8” resembles standard. If an image does not work in 10x8 it is supplied in 9x6. |

Background Information:
Helen and Chris selected Silchester House in the north Hampshire hamlet of Silchester for their marriage ceremony and wedding reception. Silchester is of course better known in historical circles as the Roman town of Calleva and there is a long term archeological dig proceeding under the auspices of the University of Reading. But the house and grounds are very well maintained and there is no reason to venture outside to "Calleva" - except perhaps to the Calleva Arms pub, which the boys of course did!
The staff at Silchester House were as always first rate and ensured that everything went smoothly - and I'm not just saying that because Ashton Lamont photos are featured on their website!
The registrars seem to have mellowed over the years and there were no onerous restrictions on professional photography during the ceremony - just the usual of no flash and keep movement to a minimum.
The weather for this summer wedding looked threatening during the afternoon but in the event we did not have to rush for shelter. Silchester House has quick and easy access to the gardens and a large patio area, and this can be a great advantage on those days when you have to dodge the showers.!
