Not all images "work" in black and white. Some have been selected as suitable for conversion and can be viewed within the main galleries. Others can be uploaded for you on request.
Guests - no highspeed internet access? Please request a free CD of these galleries (please note that images are watermarked and not printable).
Please forward this event to your friends and relations – Ashton Lamont does not collect guests email addresses at weddings but there are always lots of requests to view the galleries. And remember Facebook, MySpace, Bebo etc!
We hope you enjoy the galleries and may be able to recommend Ashton Lamont to friends and colleagues for our wedding, event, portrait, and commercial work.
Guests: High quality individually edited photographic prints or printready digital files can be purchased. See the Online Order Form clickable underneath each fullsize image or contact us with your specific requirements and with your credit or debit card details or send in a cheque (payee “Ashton Lamont”). You can also pay by internet bank transfer – contact us for the sort code and account number. All prints sized 7”x5”, 9”x6”, and 10”x8” come with a lovely black bevelled matte ready for display. All these print sizes cost the same but you may wish to avoid 10”x8” unless the print is intended for a readymade frame of that size because its aspect ratio involves cropping some content from the two shortest sides of the image – compare a widescreen television to a standard television – 9”x6” resembles widescreen and 10”x8” resembles standard. If an image does not work in 10x8 it is supplied in 9x6. |

St Mary's Church Amersham was Lachelle and Brians' chosen venue for their marriage ceremony. The church is roomy and has a fair amount of natural light and these factors combined with the rector's relaxed attitude to professional photography meant it was possible to shoot a good selection of images during the ceremony. We were blessed with fine sunny weather for this Spring wedding - something every bride hopes for on her wedding day but not necessarily every photographer! There is some shade from the mature trees at the front of the church but in very bright conditions couples can consider going around to the back of the church building or having the majority of their "formal" photos at their reception venue.
From Amersham we travelled the short distance within Buckinghamshire to the famous Compleat Angler Marlow for the wedding reception. The Compleat Angler (yes that is the correct spelling!) is in a lovely position on the banks of the River Thames right next to the most unusual and photogenic Marlow Bridge. The sunny weather conditions remained enabling everyone to enjoy drinks and snacks on the terraces whilst the bride and groom indulged in a little peace and quiet in their own short riverboat trip aboard one of the hotel's boats the "Sovereign Waters". Lachelle and Brian had a large number of formal photo requests and we repeated some of these in the evening when the natural light conditions were less harsh than the afternoon and therefore more flattering to the participants.
