We hope you enjoy the galleries and may be able to recommend Ashton Lamont to friends and colleagues for our wedding, event, portrait, and commercial work.
Guests: High quality individually edited photographic prints or printready digital files can be purchased. See the Online Order Form clickable underneath each fullsize image or contact us with your specific requirements and with your credit or debit card details or send in a cheque (payee “Ashton Lamont”). You can also pay by internet bank transfer – contact us for the sort code and account number. All prints sized 7”x5”, 9”x6”, and 10”x8” come with a lovely black bevelled matte ready for display. All these print sizes cost the same but you may wish to avoid 10”x8” unless the print is intended for a readymade frame of that size because its aspect ratio involves cropping some content from the two shortest sides of the image – compare a widescreen television to a standard television – 9”x6” resembles widescreen and 10”x8” resembles standard. If an image does not work in 10x8 it is supplied in 9x6. |

Sophie and Richard chose the famous Guildhall Windsor - location of many celebrity and royal weddings - for their marriage ceremony. It was an intimate wedding with just over a dozen guests during the day with more friends joining us in the evening.
The registrars were as always helpful almost to a fault - ours even volunteered to snap some photos on guests cameras - what a refreshing change from some registrars in other parts of the country who allow virtually nothing! There are no restrictions placed on professional photographers - just be sensible!
The popular Guildhall Windsor usually has a heavy schedule of weddings throughout the Summer so couples should ensure they are on time - as Sophie and Richard were - to avoid clashing with other weddings before or after.
Once the ceremony was over we made the short stroll to The Long Walk in Windsor Great Park. There are some terrific photos to be had there, especially around the main castle gates with Windsor Castle as a backdrop (couples should obtain the permission of the park authorities before the day). Unfortunately no sooner had we arrived than it started to rain. We sheltered for a while under some nearby trees but the weather was not going to let us get the better of it and a sustained and torrential downpour ensued. We had to abandon the park and make a run for it to the shelter of a nearby pub. Made for some terrific photos though!
We then adjourned to the Sir Christopher Wrens House Hotel on the banks of the River Thames just north of the centre of Windsor. The plan was to complete Sophie and Richards' list of formal photos on the adjacent bridge before the wedding breakfast, but the weather again had it in for us and strong winds ensured the ladies had a constant fight on their hands to preserve their hair styles. Oh well! One big advantage of Summer weddings such as this one is that its possible to shoot photos in good natural light in the evenings. By the evening the bad weather had decided that it couldn't beat us and it left us alone.
The evening reception took place in the tranquil setting of the Royal Household Cricket Club in the private grounds of Windsor Great Park.
