Not all images "work" in black and white. Some have been selected as suitable for conversion and can be viewed within the main galleries. Others can be uploaded for you on request.
Guests - no highspeed internet access? Please request a free CD of these galleries (please note that images are watermarked and not printable).
Please forward this event to your friends and relations – Ashton Lamont does not collect guests email addresses at weddings but there are always lots of requests to view the galleries. And remember Facebook, MySpace, Bebo etc!
We hope you enjoy the galleries and may be able to recommend Ashton Lamont to friends and colleagues for our wedding, event, portrait, and commercial work.
Guests: High quality individually edited photographic prints or printready digital files can be purchased. See the Online Order Form clickable underneath each fullsize image or contact us with your specific requirements and with your credit or debit card details or send in a cheque (payee “Ashton Lamont”). You can also pay by internet bank transfer – contact us for the sort code and account number. All prints sized 7”x5”, 9”x6”, and 10”x8” come with a lovely black bevelled matte ready for display. All these print sizes cost the same but you may wish to avoid 10”x8” unless the print is intended for a readymade frame of that size because its aspect ratio involves cropping some content from the two shortest sides of the image – compare a widescreen television to a standard television – 9”x6” resembles widescreen and 10”x8” resembles standard. If an image does not work in 10x8 it is supplied in 9x6. |

Sophie and Martin chose Littlecote House near the Berkshire town of Hungerford for their civil wedding ceremony and reception. Littlecote House is beautifully maintained both inside and around the extensive grounds. It has fascinating historical connections, for example with Henry VIII, with the English Civil War, but also for some darker deeds. We had lovely sunshine for this early June wedding and were able to make lots of use of the colourful gardens.
Although Littlecote House is in Berkshire it comes under the control of the Wiltshire marriage registrars. These dinosaurs have an unbelievably bad attitude to wedding photography and no shooting what so ever is permitted once the bride enters the room up to the point where a fake signing of the register is set up. Couples considering this venue should bear this in mind if a photographic record of the most important part of the most important day of your lives matters to you. What a shame that such a lovely venue is compromised in this way! The registrars in nearby Newbury and in North Hampshire are more accommodating.
The couple had a long list of formal shots they desired. As always remember to allow lots of time and then some if you have similar requirements. We completed the formals after the wedding breakfast in the evening. Thats a big advantage of June weddings - daylight is available until very late.
