We hope you enjoy the galleries and may be able to recommend Ashton Lamont to friends and colleagues for our wedding, event, portrait, and commercial work.

Guests: High quality individually edited photographic prints or printready digital files can be purchased. See the Online Order Form clickable underneath each fullsize image or contact us with your specific requirements and with your credit or debit card details or send in a cheque (payee “Ashton Lamont”). You can also pay by internet bank transfer – contact us for the sort code and account number.

All prints sized 7”x5”, 9”x6”, and 10”x8” come with a lovely black bevelled matte ready for display. All these print sizes cost the same but you may wish to avoid 10”x8” unless the print is intended for a readymade frame of that size because its aspect ratio involves cropping some content from the two shortest sides of the image – compare a widescreen television to a standard television – 9”x6” resembles widescreen and 10”x8” resembles standard. If an image does not work in 10x8 it is supplied in 9x6.

Background Information:

Sarah and Simon chose the quintessential old English Holy Trinity Church Penn Street village near Amersham Buckinghamshire for their marriage ceremony. The delightful setting is all that anyone travelling thousands of miles abroad might recall the English countryside to be, and since Sarah and Simon do a lot of travelling I'm sure this must be exactly what happens with them!

Sarah got ready at her parents nearby house, and that is itself a gardeners paradise. The wedding car featured in the galleries was supplied courtesy of her Dad - who is a Jaguar enthusiast and has vintage and modern.

Penn Street village church has good off street parking and has extensive well kept grounds suitable for professional photography. Inside, the church has alcoves near the front and its possible for the photographer to take positions here to obtain fairly good coverage of the ceremony. There are no really onerous restrictions on photography during the ceremony, just the usual don't use flash (which isn't necessary with modern digital cameras anyway) and don't let your movement cause distractions.

Sarah had put together a fairly ambitious list of posed photos but with the help of our ushers and the good co-operation of the guests we were able to crack through these very quickly. It was desirable to complete many of these at the church because the reception venue in the centre of Windsor does not have a suitable exterior area. We did in fact complete some of the "friends" shots at the hotel in the evening.

Once the ceremony and photos were finished we departed for the reception venue, the historic Harte and Garter Hotel in Windsor. The Harte and Garter Hotel overlooks Windsor Castle - or should that be the other way round! So needless to say you must allow sufficient time to find parking and make the last part of the journey on foot, just as you must with similar venues in central Oxford and central London.

The Harte and Garter was refurbished fairly recently and it really is gorgeous inside.

Sarah and Simon chose the Maldives for their honeymoon. As mentioned earlier they are well travelled and the table plan had a geographical theme as you can see in the photo below:

Holy Trinity Church in the village of Penn Street Amersham is lovely to look at from just about any position. The grounds are open and further adjacent countryside is popular with dog walkers. Here is a view of the church from the road:

Windsor is a very popular location for weddings but many of the central venues such as the Harte and Garter Hotel have no external area suitable for professional photography. Therefore lots of couples make the short trip to the Long Walk, which is at the south end of the main drag, for a few photos featuring Windsor Castle as a backdrop. There is no parking nearby so plan accordingly - most couples have their wedding car wait on standby. And expect to be besieged by tourists especially if you walk through the centre of town! You can see the "standard" castle photo below:

The Harte and Garter Hotel has a spectacular main ballroom. You can view it dressed for the wedding breakfast in this photo, shot from the stage where in the evening the DJ and a live band can set up:
