Please forward this event to your friends and relations. And remember Facebook, Twitter, MySpace, Bebo etc!

We hope you enjoy the galleries and may be able to recommend Ashton Lamont to friends and colleagues for our wedding, event, portrait, and commercial work.

High quality individually edited photographic prints or printready digital files can be purchased. See the Online Order Form clickable underneath each fullsize image or contact us with your specific requirements and with your credit or debit card details or send in a cheque (payee “Ashton Lamont”). You can also pay by internet bank transfer – contact us for the sort code and account number.

All prints sized 7”x5”, 9”x6”, and 10”x8” come with a lovely black bevelled matte ready for display. All these print sizes cost the same but you may wish to avoid 10”x8” unless the print is intended for a readymade frame of that size because its aspect ratio involves cropping some content from the two shortest sides of the image – compare a widescreen television to a standard television – 9”x6” resembles widescreen and 10”x8” resembles standard. If an image does not work in 10x8 it is supplied in 9x6.

Background Information

Mortimer Classic Motorcycle Club is ..... well its all in the name! Location - Mortimer just outside Reading in West Berkshire, and interests - errr classic machines.

The Club holds trials and scrambles several times a year just a couple of miles south of Theale and the M4 Junction 12 turnoff. Its not the easiest of places to find unless you are a local so Peter recommends you look it up on the Club's website.

Much of the circuit is accessible close up. Its great to shoot sports events where the organisers have not totally succumbed to health and safety paranoia and the crowds can actually see whats going on! Don't misunderstand, the events are properly organised and are as safe as motorsports can ever be. It reminds Peter of the August three day eventing equestrian competition at nearby Highclere Castle where its also possible to get up close and personal without being chased off by some jobsworth!

So if you're a budding sports photographer these are great events at which to hone your skills.

Peter was not able to shoot the whole day due to other commitments but he hopes you enjoy the selection in these galleries.

Note to self: must shoot again soon, the last time was the September 2005 Bargepole Trophy Day!
