Highfield Park from one of its most familiar angles as you arrive for at the main entrance for your wedding

Background Information and Highlights

Our bride and grooms have chosen the popular Highfield Park Heckfield near Hook on the Hampshire Berkshire border for their weddings. Two of the four featured couples chose to have their ceremony at the venue whilst of the other two couples one selected the adjacent St Michaels Church Heckfield and the other St Nicholas Church Newnham.

The venue is easy to reach from the nearby M4 M3 and M25 motorways and has plenty of free onsite parking available.

Several rooms are licensed for civil ceremonies, the most popular being the large Chamberlain Room which opens out onto the sunny terrace and has sweeping views of the surrounding countryside. This room is normally the location for the wedding breakfast and evening reception as well. Also available are the smaller Wellington Room and the intimate Stratfield Room.

And there are outdoor wedding opportunities should you wish to "live dangerously" bearing in mind the unpredictable English weather! The Folly has long been a popular choice. Now there is also The Pavillion on the extensive lawns.

See lots more wedding photo galleries including e.g. Peter’s Crowne Plaza Hotel, Peter’s Roseate Hotel, Peter’s Reading Registry Office, Peter’s Old Mill Aldermaston, Peter’s Mill House Hotel Swallowfield, Peter’s Warbrook House, Peter’s Christ Church Reading, Peter’s Elephant Hotel, Peter’s Elvetham Hotel and many more.

“Very pleased with the photos Peter, thanks so much. And the video is brilliant. Happy to recommend”

The Wellington Room at Highfield Park has an 86 person capacity for wedding ceremonies but can be a tight fit so you may prefer the layout shown in the above photo. This layout is also much easier for professional photographers and videographers to shoot from the front without a crush!
