Background Information and Highlights

A lovely Spring wedding at the Slough Registry Office. The venue is inside a building called The Curve right in the centre of Slough and very close to the railway station so easy travel for guests. There are lots of wedding venues in the area and the registrars who cover Berkshire and Buckinghamshire from their separate offices are invariably excellent. The weather was gorgeous on the day and we visited a nearby park to shoot lots of the must have portraits and group photos.

The venue inside The Curve is called The Elizabeth Room. It is on an upper floor so you may get confused if you are not paying attention! It is a photogenic venue inside so plenty of photo opportunities. There is a very limited area suitable for outdoor photos a few metres from The Curve exit so I recommend that you arrange for everyone to consider going to a nearby park or of course to a hotel, restaurant, private house with gardens or such like. The bride and grrom featured in this sample gallery used the Datchet Village Playgound in Allen Way Datchet which is just a few minutes drive away from The Curve.

Car parking can be tricky as it is a busy area so do ask your guests to allow for plenty of time.

The Slough Registry Office registrars are very easy to work with so no hassles for professional photographers and videographers to shoot your ceremony and the guests are allowed to shoot their own snaps and clips.
